Resolved Cannot Login or Change Password

Hi, I have successfuly installed the software, however, i cannot login and when i try to reset the password everything seems to work but i still cannot login.

Hi Nicholas,
Are you using special characters like non-unicode chars in your username or password ? I'm going to PM you a database insert for inserting a new user via database for doing some tests

Hi, thanks for your quick reply, i actually changed the password to password to see if that was the issue, and no luck same issue
"Incorrect username or password"

Does it have anything to do with suhosin?

It could be, I'm going to install suhosin and try if might cause problems.
Anyway can you please try to put in debug the software and then send us your application log? ( after a login attempt )

you can enable debug by editing the index.php ( in myt root folder ) file and changing the following line:

From:
PHP Code:
// remove the following lines when in production mode
//defined('YII_DEBUG') or define('YII_DEBUG',true);
// specify how many levels of call stack should be shown in each log message
//defined('YII_TRACE_LEVEL') or define('YII_TRACE_LEVEL',3); 

to:

// remove the following lines when in production mode
defined('YII_DEBUG') or define('YII_DEBUG',true);
// specify how many levels of call stack should be shown in each log message
defined('YII_TRACE_LEVEL') or define('YII_TRACE_LEVEL',3); 

Find in protected/config/main.php file:

'log' => array(
            
'class' => 'CLogRouter',
            
'routes' => array(
                array(
                    
'class' => 'CFileLogRoute',
                    
'levels' => 'error, warning',
                ), 

and change to:

                ), 

then you can find application log in the following folder: /protected/runtime/application.log

is this the only entriens that are present in application.log??

I've just setup an environment with php suhosin but it's working fine , but it might depends on configuration.
